What to Pack for BFF Week
Thanks to some handy suggestions on behalf of Linda and Cessila and after careful review of the original to-do list, I have the revised but probably not final list..
1. Tent
2. Camping Chairs – parentals are bring them home from the cottage
3. Raincoat (but won’t need it) – um..in storage – GOOD JOB
4. Bathing Suit and Towel
5. Warm Sweatshirt and Flannel for Firetime
6. Lighter – for building an enormous fire
7. Food Rations – food that doesn’t attract bears
8. Bikes (Bikerack, Cessila?)
9. Fishing Poles and Josh’s Tackle Box
10. Air Mattress and Step-Pump – still gotta get
11. Sleeping Bags and Pillows
12. Cell Phone and Charger – my mum bought me a charger so I would stop annoying her; little does she know, that is my duty as her only daughter
13. Bear Mace and Baseball Bat – just in case
14. Bacon for the Bear Trap – to coax bears away from our campsite (Josh says bad idea)
15. Sunscreen, Tanning Lotion and Aloe – the necessities of summer
16. Camera – for photo ops and ridiculousness
17. Magazines (trashy ones only)
18. Crossword Puzzles for Cessila (they frustrate me)
19. Smor Accessories (Mallows, chocolate and graham crackers)
20. Books (The Keys of the Kingdom, Thoughts on Solitude and other books I have to write papers on before the end of June).
21. Smut novels on tape -
22. Window markers to draw and write obscenities on Yuki
23. Garden gnome for picture purposes – “Here is Gnome with a bear!” “Here is Gnome with the fish he caught!” “Here is Gnome using a natural restroom!”
24. SATC and OC on DVD for when we crash at the cottage
25. REYNA! – kennel, dog food, leash, toy, bowls, blanket, water, towel and plenty of extra love.
